The Pregnancy Care Center has been serving our community for nearly 18 years. For the past several years, there has been a desire to become a medical organization in order to provide free ultrasounds to our abortion-vulnerable clients. Studies have shown that 8 out of 10 women who see an ultrasound of their baby will choose life. We want to be there when that happens!
In August of 2011 we completed the process and are now licensed, by the State of California, to operate a Primary Care Clinic. Our clinic, J. Rophe Medical, will open for patients in October of 2011. We have an additional location until we can be under one roof as described below. Please see "J. Rophe Medical" tab for more details.
Looking below, you will see where we are at with the plans. This is very exciting for us. The estimated cost for this 3600 sq.ft. project is $500,000. Our goal is to raise 50% or $250,000 before breaking ground. Currently, through good stewardship and generous gifts, more than $100,000 has been raised.
