ANNUAL WALKATHON
The purpose of the annual walkathon is to raise funds to subsidize the budget of the Pregnancy Care Center (PCC). Because the staff at the PCC openly talk about the benefits of Christianity, the PCC does not receive any government funding. Other than some fundraising, all support comes from individuals and churches in the community, either through monthly commitments or one-time gifts.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

In 2011 we had a great crowd of people and the enthusiasm was contagious! Walkers raised $18433! Thanks everyone, for your heart for life!

Even with the economy being a challenge, walkers still raised nearly $11,000! We are so very thankful for people who have the heart for life and understand that women need help during their time of crises. We are blessed to be serving in this ministry! Thanks for all the support!

2009 WALKATHON/RHODY PARADE
The Walkathon in the Rhody Parade was a
wonderful success! We had 70 registered walkers, who raised support for
the center, along with their friends and family who joined in the
walk. It was exciting because there were a lot more young people
participating this year. Our group was colorful and lively. The
community welcomed us with cheers and "thumbs up" as we walked along the
parade route.
We had posters on our van that said, "A
Person's a Person, No Matter How Small" from the Horton Hears a Who
movie. We had balloons, postcards (about the center) and bookmarks to
hand out to those watching the parade.
The Pre-parade BBQ was a
lot of fun as well. "Salvage," The band that played, did a fantastic
job! We gave out t-shirts to walkers and prizes to the top earners.
Children of all ages played in the Gladiator Bounce House all evening.
THANKS FOR BEING A PART OF THIS
FUN DAY!
